Breville PressXpress Steam Iron
Let's be honest - most of us aren't fans of ironing. The Breville team are no different, so VIN339 PressXpress 2800 W Steam Iron has been designed with you in mind. High performance and easy-to-use features make ironing quicker and easier to give you more time to do the things you actually enjoy. The powerful 180 g steam shot gets deep into fabrics - powering through tough creases - while specially designed steam channels keep the steam at the heart of the soleplate; right where you need it. With its premium ceramic finish, the multi-directional soleplate with precision tip delivers effortless gliding in all directions. The super-wide soleplate presses more fabric and removes more wrinkles with every single glide. The easy-fill inlet makes filling quicker and spill-free, while the large 400 ml tank means more ironing between re-fills. Safety features include auto shut-off which automatically switches the iron off if left unattended or knocked over and a safe-store indicator to tell you when your iron is cool enough to put away. An improved heel design gives stability and neat cord storage. Ideal for busy homes.

Ironing in Comfort
Breville believe comfort is important too, so this PressXpress has a soft-grip handle to reduce fatigue. The extra long 3 m power cord with 360 action provides manoeuvrability and reduced tangling. Up-to-temperature illumination means you can see at a glance when your iron is ready to use. Anti-scale and self-clean features help prolong the life of your iron by reducing limescale and other impurities. Anti-drip prevents annoying water drips. If time is short, the vertical steam function is ideal for a quick spruce-up or for delicates, tricky-to-iron items and even hanging curtains.

What are Steam Channels?
We all know that steam is the key to wrinkle removal. Steam relaxes the fibres of the fabric, ready for the soleplate to press them smooth. High steam output – but most irons lose some at the edges of the soleplate. The steam channels on the PressXpress bring the steam into the centre of the super wide soleplate and up to the very tip, where you need it most for desired results. This also enables more than one layer of fabric to be ironed at once.

Why Does Higher Power Mean Faster Ironing?
Higher power doesn’t mean a hotter iron. Think about it: you select the temperature that you need in line with the care label of the item that you’re ironing. The high power, gets you to the temperature selected faster. Turning the water from the tank into the steam to remove wrinkles, takes heat out of the soleplate. High power means a faster recovery, better constant steam and much better steam shots.

What Does a Multi-Direction Soleplate Do for Me?
Traditional steam irons and soleplates have a point at the front and are flat at the back. If you try to iron backwards, the fabric gathers and if ironed over, you have worse creases than you started with. The multi directional soleplate of the PressXpress means you can glide as easily and smoothly backwards as forwards. Reduce the amount of times you need to reposition the garment and avoid twisting yourself into awkward angles. The fine detail tip allows you to reach into every little corner or pleat and the premium ceramic coating ensures an effortless glide.

Longer Lasting
Use the easy self-clean function on a regular basis to dramatically increase the life of your iron. Don’t wait until the limescale builds and the deposits block the steam holes. In just a few minutes you can flush the particles of limescale that build inside the iron away, before they become a problem. Stop getting those annoying flecks of white on your darker clothes and keep your iron steaming at the high levels.
